Cohort Rosters

Cohort Rosters is the list of cohorts the Institute has ever run. Each card shows the cohort’s name, its program, when it starts and ends, how many seats are filled against capacity, how many intensives it holds, and its status (planned, active, completed).

Clicking a cohort opens its detail page.

Four sections, in order.

The roster. One row per person enrolled, with their format (in person or virtual), their enrollment status, and a link to their record. From here you can see who is on the plane to Kanuga and who is dialling in from home.

Every scheduled gathering: intensives at Kanuga, Zoom cohort calls, info sessions. Each row has the title, the kind, the start and end time, and either a Kanuga room or a Zoom link, depending on where the session happens.

The monthly assignments the cohort is working through, in sequence order, each with its due date and the count of submissions received so far.

A button labelled Import attendance report fetches the latest participant list from the Zoom adapter for the most recent session with virtual enrollees. In fake mode it uses a fixture report (one virtual attendee per cohort, with plausible minutes); in live mode it will call the real Zoom API. Either way, every row written goes to the person’s Timeline.

  • There is no way to assign a mentor to a cohort from the CRM today. Mentors are linked at the person level, through their invitation. A future session will add a mentor-to-cohort page here (see Coming later).
  • Session creation, assignment creation and roster editing live inside the database. The office makes those changes with the engineer’s help; a self-serve cohort builder is on the list.
