Student Success
Student Success is the page you open when you want to know how every current student is actually doing — not whether they are enrolled, but whether they are keeping up.
What a row shows
Section titled “What a row shows”One row per active enrollment. For each student:
- Name and the cohort they are in.
- Status — Active, On leave, or whatever their program row says.
- Intensives — attended out of required.
- Assignments — accepted out of required, with the number submitted-but-not-yet-reviewed as a quieter second number.
- Cohort calls — attended out of total.
- Payments — overdue count and paid count.
- A percentage — the simplest fair measure of how far through the program they are, averaged across intensives and assignments.
- A risk score — a quiet number that goes up when a student is under half on intensives, under half on submissions, or has any overdue payment. Not shown to the student. Used to sort the list.
What the risk score sorts by
Section titled “What the risk score sorts by”The highest-risk rows come first:
- Any overdue payment adds 3.
- Under half of intensives attended adds 2.
- Under half of assignments received adds 2.
A score of 0 is a quiet, on-track student. Anything above 2 is worth a look.
Alerts
Section titled “Alerts”A second panel on this page shows every open alert — a flag the system or a mentor raised on a specific student. Alerts have a priority (low, medium, high), a short summary (“Spiritual autobiography is two weeks past due”), and an owner. They move through Open → Acknowledged → Completed → Dismissed. Dismissing closes an alert that doesn’t need action; completing records that the issue was resolved.
Alerts come from two places. One, mentors raise them by hand on a submission or on a student’s record. Two, the system raises them automatically from student-success rules: a missed intensive, a second missing assignment, an overdue invoice. The chapter on Automations lists each rule.
What the student sees
Section titled “What the student sees”Nothing from this page is visible to the student. Student Success is a pastoral view, not a report card.
Next: Certification.
